Last week we cut down our own Christmas tree from our friend’s tree farm – http://www.pinesteadtreefarms.com/

It was pretty cool, not as expensive as I thought and I high recommend it. Now it wasn’t a snow shoe hike like last year…

BWCA Trip 2008

Erika and I went into the BWCA for Labor Day. Here are the photos.

We went in from Poplar Lake to Liz to Caribou to Horseshoe to Gaskin and we stayed on Winchell Lake – 5 portages and almost 13 miles. Check out some of the photos to see why it’s very impressive for Erika to be doing this kind of thing….

Gunflint Trail Weekend
