2010 Anderson’s Resort Pictures

The week before the 4th, we (and 4 college friends and their families) spent the week up in Ely at Anderson’s Resort – my college roommate’s family resort.  As you can see, a good time was had by all.

POTD – #29 – Nala

POTD_29 Nala

Nala out in the grass – I initially planned one photo of everyone in the immediate family – including pets.  I got another good shot of her and I was satisfied with it, but there was a better photo that day, so it didn’t make the cut.  Anyway, I didn’t want her to not have a day.

How:  f5.6 ISO 400 – can’t go wrong.

POTD – #28 – Abbie on Pink

Abbie with the flowering crab tree in the background.

How: f5.6 ISO 400 – I laid on the ground to get the tree in the background and had her stand in a shadow.

POTD – #19 – Jake and the Moose

POTD_19 Moose

I didn’t pose this one – Jake just crawled up the stairs and started smiling by the moose.  Luckily I had the camera with.

How: Sweet spot – f5.6, ISO 400.

POTD – #09 – Mom

POTD_09 Mom

Erika, Jake and I went for a 200 yard walk after dinner that took 25 minutes.  While I was busy putzen with the camera, she was busy watching Jake.

How: The sweet spot for my main lens for people – f5.6, ISO 400, 1/400 s – I set that when we started walking and let it rip.
